Virginia Crofton Seward died on January 14, 2010 at age 82. She was a long-time resident of Garden City. Predeceased by her parents Grace McDermott Crofton and Harry J. Crofton of Garden City, her beloved son, William Seward, brothers Harry, John, and Ronald. Survived by five nieces and eight nephews, three sisters-in-law, and her childhood friend, Florence Turner. A Funeral Mass will be held on January 22, 2010 at Corpus Christi Church in Mineola, New York followed by internment at Holy Rood Cemetery.
