The Thursday Luncheon Group, sponsored by the Garden City Community Church, has begun a new year of programs and fellowship for Garden City senior citizens. They meet in the church parlor at noon on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. The next meeting will be on January 28 and the speaker will be Police Officer Pedone who will address safety for seniors.

Hostesses Martha Pearson and Pat Dalton will serve coffee and dessert. Attendees are asked to bring a sandwich for themselves. All are welcome to join for an interesting program and warm fellowship.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ.
