The Music Academy of Garden City is proud to announce that Annie Walsh is Musician of the Month for January 2010. Annie is a 7th grade student at Garden City Middle School and has been studying voice at the Music Academy for 1 1¼2 years. Annie is currently working on pieces from the play Wicked with her teacher, Molly Mustonen. Molly said that Annie is a hard working, pleasant, and talented singer. She comes prepared to her lessons and is always open to try new things. She has attended musical theatre camp and works hard to audition for her school musicals. Molly said she really enjoys having Annie as a student. In addition to studying voice, Annie also plays soccer with the GC Centennials Team Shock.
