On Friday, December 18, 2009 Joan Afflerbach, Chairman of the Community Service Department of the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead, accompanied by Board members Regina Dowling and Patricia Sheehan, visited the offices of the Interfaith Nutrition Network in Hempstead, and presented Jean Kelly, Executive Director of the INN, with a donation from the Community Club Board of Directors to help support the INN in its continuing effort to provide food, shelter, long term housing and supportive services to the hungry and homeless of Long Island.
