REGISTRATION FOR ADULT YOGA IN CLUETT HALL BEGINS
Connie McKnight, our certified yoga instructor, has designed adult yoga classes with all ages in mind. Each class is one hour long. All classes are held in Cluett Hall at St. Paul’s and will begin the week of January 25. Any resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City is invited to join these relaxing classes.
The course schedule is as follows:
Mondays at 7:30 p.m. beginning 1/25 15 classes for $75
Wednesdays at10:15 a.m. beginning 1/27 15 classes for $75

NEW CHILDREN’S TENNIS SESSION TO BEGIN ON JANUARY 4TH
The second session of our youth tennis at the Community Park Tennis Facility began this week. There are still openings available in some of the classes. We offer instruction for children ages 5-18. Lessons run from 13-15 weeks. Please visit our Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue for further information or to register
PRESCHOOL ARTS AND CRAFTS REGISTRATION
There are limited openings available for the Recreation Department’s Preschool Arts and Crafts program on Thursdays at 12:15 pm. This 45 minute program is open to any child who is 3 1/2 to 5 years old and a resident of the Village of Garden City. The cost of this 5 week program is $25. SATURDAY MEN'S BASKETBALL
FOR RESIDENTS
Saturday morning Men's basketball begins again on Saturday, January 9 th and run until February 13 in the Middle School south gym. Our program runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Please bring your license as residency will be checked.

If your family came to the Recreation Department to have your photo taken with Santa, your picture is waiting to be picked up at the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue. We will hold the photos until the end of January.
FAMILY FUN TIME ON SUNDAYS
On Sunday afternoons beginning January 10, the St. Paul’s Field House will be open for “Family Fun” for Village families. This open time provides the opportunity for families to enjoy various gym activities in an indoor environment. The gym will be available for use from noon to 3:30 p.m. each Sunday until March.
This time is designated for family time only. No organized practices or workouts will be allowed. Although there will be staff to monitor activity, this is not a drop off program. We ask the elementary aged children be accompanied by an adult. For the safety of our users, no lacrosse or baseball will be allowed.
FAMILY MOVIE DAY
On Sunday, January 24, the Recreation Department will Disney’s “toy Story 2” in Cluett Hall at 1 pm.
This movie, running 92 minutes, is rated G. Admission is free and snacks will be served at a nominal charge.
