Garden City Varsity Wrestling at Glen Cove Holiday Tournament

This tournament included the teams from the Catholic league, Westchester, as well as Nassau. The boys worked hard over the Christmas vacation and the results show it. In this highly disciplined sport, your results on the mat directly correlate to the work you put into practicing and physical conditioning. No doubt, this school week off, early morning practices contributed to the boys’ success. Below are the following team scores:

103 lbs. Jack Reina - Gold

119 lbs. Captain Michael Lofrese - Gold

140 lbs. John Tarzian - Silver

152 lbs. Eric Connors - Silver

189 lbs. Tom Ferro - Gold

215 lbs. Captain Connor Horl - Both Gold and Most Outstanding Wrestler from 145 to 285
