For the Thanksgiving holiday, Miss Cavera’s class performed The Unexpected Guests, welcoming parents, relatives and friends to their classroom for a morning performance and enjoying a holiday feast in the afternoon. The students prepared for the production for several weeks - memorizing lines and cues, and working to give expression to their words and actions. “They were extremely proud of their accomplishments,” commented Miss Cavera. “They recorded their feelings throughout the process in written assignments. While they admitted being nervous before the big day, they were poised and confident while performing.”

Keep up the great work, second graders!
