The Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) will hold its Annual Residents Electors’ Meeting on Tuesday, January 19, 7:30p.m. at Homestead School. [Residents of the West: please note that the WPOA is resuming general meetings at Homestead School.] Nominating Committee Chairman Tom Nastasi will announce the selection of John Watras for reelection as Village Trustee and Barbara Trapasso for reelection to the Garden City School Board. The WPOA welcomes guest speakers Kevin Willis, project manager for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, who will update residents on groundwater remedial investigations pertaining to various underground plumes in the Village, and Frank Koch, Superintendent, Garden City Water and Sewer Services.
