Garden City Actor Is “Lost in Yonkers”
Joe Boccia, Jr., Aspiring young actor, Joe Boccia, Jr., will be appearing in Lost in Yonkers at the Stage Theater located at 2222 Hewlett Ave. in Merrick, NY. Joe is a junior at the Garden City High School and The Long Island High School for the Arts. Although he has performed in numerous productions in the Garden City school district, this is Joe’s first professional performance.
Set in 1942, Lost in Yonkers is the coming-of-age tale of a year in the lives of two teenagers when they are left in the care of a band of eccentric relatives. It is a funny, yet bittersweet, Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning play written by Neil Simon.
The Stage Theater is an award-winning professional theater whose mission is to entertain, educate and inspire it’s audiences with quality musicals, comedies and dramas.
