Residents Paint Holiday Mugs At Library Program
Instructor Irene Marchese (center) taught residents how to hand-paint mugs with a beautiful holiday motif at the Garden City Library on Wednesday December 2nd. Two participants displayed the mugs they painted, which could be given as holiday gifts or used by the family during the upcoming holiday season.
Three participants at the Library’s Holiday Mug Workshop concentrate on using a special one stroke painting technique to create a lovely work of art on coffee mugs.
Holiday mugs with a winter scene complete with evergreens and snowflakes were created by participants at the Garden City Library’s Hand Painted Holiday Mugs Workshop on December 2nd. The participant pictured is meticulously painting evergreens on red coffee mugs.
Utilizing the paint and the techniques demonstrated by Instructor Irene Marchese, a participant hand paints a winter scene on a mug she brought to the Library’s Hand Painted Holiday Mugs Workshop.
