Saint Anne’s Social Ministry wants to thank the community for helping to sponsor families for Thanksgiving. Over 80 donors volunteered to “sponsor a family” —which meant providing a complete Thanksgiving dinner. In addition, your cash donations, along with turkeys and food donated by Long Island Cares enabled us to provide a complete dinner for another 160 families at the Gerald & Louise Kaiser Outreach Center in Uniondale.

What a blessing to see the support of neighbors at a time when so many are struggling in this difficult economic environment. We also thank the many teen volunteers who packaged the dinners. God Bless you!
