Free Workshop For Breast Cancer Patients A free workshop, “Simplifying and Organizing Your Lifestyle,” is being offered to those who have had breast cancer on Tuesday, January 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The workshop, sponsored by the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, will be held at Adelphi University’s Alumni House in Garden City. This session will examine various aspects of everyday life and provide solutions to make life less complicated. Home and personal organization strategies will enable participants to take charge of their time and space, tame clutter, reduce stress and save money. Participants are encouraged to bring their organizing questions to this interactive discussion. The instructor will be Marguerite Barone, MA, PD. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and Professional Organizers of Long Island and is the owner of Organizing Concepts, a firm that specializes in bringing order and efficiency to the residential or office environment. The workshop, open only to those who have had breast cancer, will be held at Adelphi University’s Alumni House, 154 Cambridge Avenue in Garden City. Pre-registration is required. Call 516-877-4325.
