Nine members of the varsity Girls Swim Team finished their season on a very positive note at the State Meet in Rochester on November 20th and 21st. Sr. Co-Captain Sarah Schlichte was 12th in the 200 free with a personal best time and 7th in the 500 free. Junior Co-Captain Megan Zarriello placed 5th in the 200 free and 4th in the 500 free with a personal best and All American Consideration time. Two other girls finished in the top 20 in their respective events. Junior Kelly McGrath was 20th in the 200 IM and 12th in the 500 free. Freshman Lindsay Schlichte was 18th in the 500 free. In addition, the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Sarah Schlichte, Erin Kenny, Kelly McGrath and Megan Zarriello finished 11th in a season best time. Sarah Schlichte (500 Free. 400 Free Relay) and Megan Zarriello (200 Free, 500 Free and 400 Free Relay). Erin Kenny (400 Free Relay) and Kelly McGrath (400 Free Relay) earned All Long Island honors. Congratulations to Coach Anne Sullivan on a great season.
