WPOA Seeks Applicants For Village, School Board

The Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) is seeking applicants for the positions of Village Board Trustee, a two-year term that begins in April 2010, and School Board Trustee, a three-year term that begin on July 1, 2010. Any resident of the Western Section of the Village who is interested is urged to submit a letter of intent and a resume to: Mrs. Melanie Henderson, WPOA Secretary, 22 Fenimore Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530. The deadline for submission of applications has been extended to Monday, November 30. Interviews with applicants will take place in December, and the Nominating Committee will make its recommendations at the January general meeting of the WPOA.

The Western Section of Garden City is bordered on the north by the main line of the LIRR, on the east by the west side of Tanners Pond and Edgemere Roads, on the south by Cambridge Avenue and on the west by Jefferson Street.
