ON NOVEMBER 21, 3 p.m., a man described as thin, black, age 35-40, with a blue canvas bag, allegedly took 9 prepaid cell phones valued at $545 at the T-Mobile store... ON NOVEMBER 20 , detectives arrested a 22-year-old Bronx man for 2 counts of the criminal possession of a forged instrument, and four counts of the criminal possession of stolen property and the attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, Oxycontin, at CVS Pharmacy. The man had forged benefit cards and stolen prescriptions... ON NOVEMBER 19 , security at Sears observed a 25-year-old man allegedly place a stolen pair of sneakers on his feet outside the store-and then he returned to take another pair of sneakers without paying for them. He was stopped at the outside garage area and he pushed 2 security officers, attempting to escape, but a passerby got involved. He was restrained until GC Police arrived on the scene and placed him under arrest... ON NOVEMBER 20, a 36-year-old Trinidad man was arrested for the alleged theft of $22,000 from his ex-girlfriend’s Federal Credit Union account, which had occurred at a Franklin Avenue business office in September... A 19-YEAR-OLD GC male was arrested on November 20, in connection with a graffiti incident that had taken place in October at a Railroad Avenue building.. .PO OSWALD ARRESTED a 20-year-old Baltimore, Maryland man for the failure to maintain a lane, failure to signal, no passing zone, no seatbelt, and alleged aggravated DWI (.18%), at Meadow St., on November 21... BETWEEN NOVEMBER 18 and 19, someone stole an Apple Shuffle and a GPS from an unlocked car. $550... DURING THE SAME period of time, a leather brief case and a Dell laptop were taken from a car parked at Locust Street... BETWEEN NOVEMBER 15 and 18, an $800 HP laptop, school books, and miscellaneous coins, were taken from an unlocked car parked at Locust Street...

ON NOVEMBER 17 , power lines came down because of a large tree branch that had fallen at Rockaway Avenue... LIPA WAS PERFORMING water maintenance at Stewart Avenue on November 19 and water leaked from a valve there on to the street... A GAS LEAK occurred at a Cherry Valley Avenue apt. on November 19... FD SHUT DOWN the fuel supply and opened a chimney flue at Hampton Rd. on November 21...
