Diane Kendricks, Jan Scopes & Nancy Peretz The “Evening Walking Tour of Historic Homes” with The Garden City Historical Society is continuing to accept reservations for December 3rd. This exciting event will take place at 7pm and feature historical homes within a few blocks of The Historical Society Museum. Visitors will be able to walk through each home & view the interior design while listening to a short talk on the home’s unique history & architecture. The Yuletide Reception at The Museum follows the tour, with Christmas “cheer” and music. The public is invited.

Jill Mayer, Reservations Chair says, “Be sure to get your reservations in as early as possible, as we expect a large turnout.” However, tickets can also be bought at the door, if there is space available.

Tickets are on sale now for $30 GC Historical Society members and $35 for non-members, and membership forms will be available at the Museum. (If people become a member at/or before the tour, they will save $5 on the tour that evening.) The tickets can be purchased from The A.T. Stewart Exchange (746-8900), which is located in the rear of The Garden City Historical Society Museum at 109 Eleventh Street. Checks made out to The Garden City Historical Society are tax- deductible.

Joe Stanco, Albert Intreglia & Mary Mahoney Funds will be used to operate The Garden City Historical Society Museum, fund the education programs & increase its archiving work.
