Volunteers Provide Thanksgiving Meal For Families
      It’s called “A Place of Hope,” the outreach program of CrossBridge Church in Salisbury, which will provide full Thanksgiving dinners for over 160 families this Thanksgiving.

GC Resident Participates In Live United Open
      Doug Holland of Garden City participated in United Way of Long Island’s Live United Open golf outing at the Huntington Crescent Club. The event raised over $175,000 to support United Way’s Community Impact Fund.

Cathedral Seats New Bishop
      The Right Reverend Lawrence C. Provenzano was invested as the Eighth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island on November 14, succeeding the Right Reverend Orris G. Art Show Raises Funds For Autism

Resident Honored By Village
      Mayor Robert Rothschild presented Garden City resident Alfred Urban with a citation on behalf of residents and the Board of Trustees at the Nov. 19th Board meeting. Urban, who is also a former Village Trustee, volunteer and World War II veteran, was honored at an awards ceremony at the French Consulate in New York City on Veteran’s Day.
