At all Masses last weekend, St. Joseph’s parishioners returned plastic Baby Bottle Banks, which they volunteered to fill with spare change from their homes during the past month. This year’s Baby Bottle Bank Campaign was a wonderful success as several thousands of dollars were collected and will be distributed to The Life Center of Long Island in Deer Park (Telephone: 631-243-2373). The Life Center is an award-winning maternity-care facility that protects babies from abortion by supporting mothers and fathers who are experiencing untimely pregnancies.

St. Joseph parishioners, who may have missed last weekend’s collection, may still drop off their Baby Bottle Banks at the church’s sacristy or rectory this weekend, November 14/15.
