Jason Burns and Gillian Groarke. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Groarke of Garden City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Gillian to Jason Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Burns of West Roxbury, MA.

Gillian is a graduate of Garden City High School, class of 1999 She received a bachelor’s degree from Duke University in 2003 and a law degree from Fordham Law School in 2006. Gillian is currently an associate at the law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in New York City.

Jason is a 1998 graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT. He is a Vice President at ACE Tempest Re in Hamilton, Bermuda. An October 2010 wedding is planned.
