The Garden City Library’s new Winter displays feature both fiction and non fiction books, which have been selected for holiday interests. The Garden City Public Library invites you to browse the Library’s display area for books to read this holiday season. Browse the Cozy Up With A Good Book display to find a popular novel you’ve been waiting to read. Visit the Tis the Season holiday displays to borrow books on cooking, decorating, and entertaining for the upcoming holiday season. Select a holiday movie or music to share with your family from Sights and Sounds of the Holiday Season.

For opera lovers, the Night at the Opera display features audiobooks, cds, and DVDs to listen to or to watch a favorite performance in the comfort of your own home. There are books about the history of the opera as well as biographies of famous sopranos and tenors. If you prefer a good mystery or thriller, peruse Spyglass Lane to discover new authors and series you may not have read. For those who prefer a lighter read, popular authors from the women’s fiction genre are displayed on the What Are You Reading shelves.
