The evening will not only feature historical homes within walking distance of The Garden City Historical Society Museum, but also music as tour-goers arrive at the Museum and when they return after the tour. The public is invited to this event. Visitors will be able to walk through each home & view the interior design while listening to a short talk on the home’s unique history & architecture.

The evening will begin with members of a select group of choral students from Ms. Nancy Kleeman’s music classes at Garden City Middle School singing as people come in. Ms. Kleeman says, “We’re thrilled we can perform for the Garden City Historical Society. The students are happy to have this opportunity. We have some very talented singers.” The evening ends back at the Museum, where members of the Village Music Makers will have an instrumental performance.

Tickets are on sale now for $30 GC Historical Society members and $35 for non-members, and membership forms will be available at the Museum. (If people become a member at/or before the tour, they will save $5 on the tour that evening.) The tickets can be purchased from The A.T. Stewart Exchange (746-8900), which is located in the rear of The Garden City Historical Society Museum at 109 Eleventh Street. In addition, tickets are available through Jill Mayer (Mail check to: Jill Mayer, 87 Magnolia Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530, phone: 603-2393) and Kris Harder (747-1774).
