John Griffith aggressively obtains control. On Saturday, November 7, the boys U-10 Maverick soccer team defeated the Albertson Fire by a final sore of 3-0. Goals were scored by Ian Gallagher and Kevin McNiff. The Mavericks have been stepping up their game and playing some first rate soccer with offensive success shown by Vincent Como, Steven Santel and J.P. Trabulst. Colin Creen was the team’s captain on Saturday and was strong on offense as well. The Mavericks still have two more games to complete their opening season.
