Nursery School Fall Fun
VP Fundraising Rosalia Ludricks, Casino Night Co-Chairs: Irene Pinou and Cecilia Symanski
October kicked off a busy social season for parents and staff at Garden City Nursery School. First, on Friday, October 2nd, Garden City Nursery School was completely transformed for the annual Pot Luck Dinner. The hospitality committee, headed up by Jennifer Keller and Brooke Weber, organized a harvest-themed night and guests contributed delicious dishes. President Tina Palmer welcomed the crowd and Tom Pinou did an outstanding job coaxing top-dollar bids for fantastic auction packages. A great time was had by all.
Then, on Friday, October 23rd , Garden City Nursery School held its annual Casino Night at Stewart Manor Country Club. Parents and staff enjoyed cocktails and hor d’oeurves while trying their luck at Craps, Roulette, and Blackjack tables. An exciting Poker Tournament rounded out the activities. The event, co-chaired by Irene Pinou and Cecilia Symanski, was well-attended and everyone had a fun night out.

These are just a few of the many school events where parents and staff have the opportunity to socialize with one another outside of the classroom setting. In the months ahead, events such as Holiday Boutique, Children’s Theater and Spring Cocktail promise to be just as successful.
