In October, we went on our annual trip to Hicks Nursery for a hayride to see “Otto the Ghost.” We had a wonderful time together. We also had Janice Buckner, a well-known children’s songwriter and performer, visit our school on Halloween. Ms. Buckner was terrific. Not only did our children participate in her performance but so did their parents! The party ended with a parade and treats. October is fire safety and prevention month. Our 3 and 4 year olds took a trip to the Garden City Fire House. The Firemen gave a great presentation to the children and made learning fire safety fun. The children especially loved spraying the fire hose.

Registration will begin on Tuesday, November for classes beginning in September 2010. Next year, 3 year olds can enroll in a 3 day program and our four year olds can enroll for a four and five day program. Each program is from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. To register for next year, children must be 3 or 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2010. A $150 non-refundable registration fee is due upon contract signing.
