The Msgr. Seidenschwang Council of the Knights of Columbus are pleased to host the return of Paddy Noonan and his: Echoes of Ireland, Irish in America show.

On Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 1:30 pm, McCloskey Auditorium in St Anne’s Parish will be transformed into a traditional Irish cabaret. Sharing the stage with Paddy will be Mary O’Dowd, Brian Hunter and Sheila Noonan. Tommy Mulvihill, and his band will provide the musical background that will surely keep our toes tappin’ and hands clappin’. Meanwhile, George Casey will show off his comedic skills and deadly timing.

This event will be bittersweet for the members of the Knights and many of the St Anne’s Parishioners and neighbors, as we mark the first anniversary of the passing of our Brother, Daniel Burns. Dan was a founding member of our Council and was instrumental in many of the successful fund-raisers held over the years. However, the event that was nearest and dearest to his heart was the annual Irish Show. He oversaw the promotion and publicity for many Shows. His hard work and dedication were truly a labor of love. We find comfort in knowing that Dan now has “the best seat in the house” in which to witness the current Show. This year, we will pay tribute to our friend during the Show.
