The Garden City Historical Society has had to cancel its lecture and book signing by Alister McReynolds, author of Legacy: The Scots Irish in America, which was scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, due to an unexpected death in Mr. McReynold’s wife’s family. If the Historical Society is able to reschedule this event, it will make the appropriate announcements in the local papers, in the Village kiosks and at the Garden City Public Library.
