“Health Care Hero Physician”

Dr. Robert D’Esposito, (second from right), recipient of the “Health Care Heroe’s Award” is flanked by Dr. Robert Feirsen, Superintendent of Garden City Schools and his partners at his Garden City Office of Urological Surgeons of Long Island, Gary Oshinsky, MD; Barry Shepherd, MD; and Robert Edelman, MD. Robert F. D’Esposito, M.D. a Garden City urologist, has been named by Long island Business News as “Health Care Hero Physician” . He is the former medical director of Garden City Schools. According to Dr. Robert Feirsen, Garden City Schools superintendent, Dr D’Esposito is “well known as a friendly face on the field” and in many ways “a throwback to the old community doctor”. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook Medical School and is governor of the Ameican College of Surgeons.

Dr. D’Esposito practices urology in Garden City at Urological Surgeons of Long Island, a division of Integrated Medical Professionals. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr D’Esposito was among other healthcare hero’s presented with this prestigious award at the “Health Care Hero’s” breakfast at Crest Hollow Country Club presented by the Long Island Business news and Hofstra Univerity.
