Pictures reflect the happy faces of AAUW members as they met to discuss their first selected book for the season. Alberto Maggio, chairperson for the Joy of Reading group led that discussion on September 30th. The choice for that month was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society.
Georgene Harrison, Doris Buck Janet Fecht.
The impact of the German Occupation of the Isle of Guernsey during War World II on the lives of the people as depicted by the novel gave much thought for a lively discussion.
