Suzie Alvey will be available with a “Meet-the-Artist” Reception this Sunday, Nov. 8th at the Garden City Public Library. The public is invited to this free event. The reception will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm, with delicious hors d’ oeuvres & desserts for everyone.

Suzie’s solo art show features oil & pastel portraits, as well as landscape watercolors with her “Faces & Places” exhibit at the Garden City Public Library. The show runs for the month of November, and is open during regular library hours in the Gallery on the lower level.

Ms. Alvey is a freelance artist who accepts commissions. She lives in Garden City.

The Garden City Public Library is located on Seventh Street, across from the Garden City Hotel.
