The Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, was thrilled to have chapter member Mary Poole recognized for her past military service at the recently held 113th New York State NSDAR Conference.
Mary was recognized for being a Veteran on September 25th, during the evening’s Military Dinner, when she was presented with a certificate acknowledging her service as a nurse during World War II. The certificate was presented by New York State Regent, Mrs. Gretta Archer. The event took place at the Radisson Hotel in Corning, New York. The conference theme was Patriotism.
Mary has held many posts in the Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter. Presently, she serves as Hospitality Chairman, Chapter Librarian, and American Heritage Chairman. She has long been an asset to the chapter, and her colleagues in the group applaud this richly deserved recognition.
