The Girls Varsity Swim Team decided to make a difference in the lives of some pediatric cancer patients. At their pasta party on October 25th the girls donated halloween candy and put together over 100 candy bags to be distributed to pediatric cancer patients at the Children’s Oncology Clinic at Columbia University Medical Center. This cancer clinic has special meaning for the girls. Teammates Shannon and Kelly Quinn’s younger brother Matt was diagnosed with leukemia this past spring. He is presently a patient at the clinic. At their next pasta party, the girls will be collecting birthday paper goods to be used by the clinic for patient birthday parties.

Great job girls and know that you made a difference for all the kids at the clinic!
