If you are looking to add a special and meaningful touch to your family’s Thanksgiving celebration, you may want to consider this. The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) will be hosting an early Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, Novvember 8, 1:30 - 3:00 pm at the Mary Brennan INN in Hempstead. This is meaningful because the Mary Brennan INN, while normally a soup kitchen, will be set aside this Sunday to welcome those who want to support the charitable work of The INN. And, a turkey dinner will be served (by INN volunteers), tours of the soup kitchen will be available and it is the most tangible way to get in touch with the true meaning of Thanksgiving.

This is a family event and children are encouraged to attend along with their parents (there will be arts and crafts activities for the the children). 100% of the proceeds of this pre-Thanksgiving dinner will go to providing turkey dinners at the Mary Brennan INN soup kitchen on Thanksgiving Day. The asked donation is $125 per family - whether that be three or six or whatever number.
