The Garden City Chamber of Commerce kicked off its 2009-2010 luncheon program series at the Garden City Hotel on September 30. Edward J. Thomas, regional sales manager of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, discussed trends in past 2009, expectations in the fourth quarter and going forward in 2010. Mr. Thomas dispelled myths that banks are limiting residential real estate lending, the status on the first time home buyer tax credit, along with recent credit policy and product shifts in the market.
