See this photo at www.Newsphoto.com It was senior day for the Garden City Trojans girl’s varsity soccer team as they played host to the Oceanside Sailors on Monday afternoon, October 19th. Oceanside went up 1-0 in the 7th minute on a goal by Shannon Farrell but the Trojans evened it up after Christina Cesarini, took a pass from Barbara Sullivan and put the ball in the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1. GC goalkeeper Christina Mangels made five saves and Oceanside goalkeeper Jessica Kambic made 13 saves as the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
