Upon completion of a rigorous application process, seven Garden City High School students were selected as winners in the 2009 Adelphi Prize for Leadership competition. The winners were honored at a reception on September 23rd at Adelphi University. Each student received a $1,000 stipend, an inscribed trophy, and invitations to the Adelphi University’s cultural events for the 2009-2010 school year. Each winner also is eligible to enroll in one free course per semester at Adelphi University for the 2009-2010 school year.
