Primary Schools Learn About Good Choices
Children enjoying “Make A Good Choice”
On Tuesday, September 29th grades K-1 from Hemlock, Homestead and Locust primary schools had the pleasure of gathering at Stewart for a performance by Lou Del Bianco called “Make A Good Choice”. Lou is an actor, singer and storyteller that teaches children about honesty, responsibility and tolerance. Through his stories, he takes the children on a journey of his childhood in which he creatively weaves in these important character traits.
The students got a chance to decide what kinds of choices they would make if in his shoes. As a special treat, some children were asked to sing & dance on stage with him!
They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and hopefully learned to put into practice the principles of making better choices!
Lou Del Bianco comes from Port Chester, N.Y. and spent 10 years creating his own characters. After attending acting school, he began working in after-school art programs. He began creating a one man show combining storytelling theatre and music in a variety of interactive ways. He also has teamed up with talented musicians to create unique children’s recordings.
