The time is at hand to support the band.

Although our uniforms are frayed we still march in the parades.

In rain and wind and snow it’s to the football games we go.

We cheer the team through thick and thin,

and play GC High above the din.

This year we got the call from Mickey and Friends

to perform at Disney again.

We humbly ask for your support to get new band uniforms

before we report,

To represent the great town of Garden City, NY

down Main Street at the Resort.

We ask for a donation a dollar if you will to buy new uniforms

so our performance will thrill.

Maybe be picked up on Network TV for the world to see,

So stop by and give a buck,

We’ll be at the Street Fair October 24th in front of Starbucks.

If that’s not cool we’ll also be at the Homecoming Game

at the High School!!

$1 is all it takes to make a flautist trill for joy.

$1 will make a drummer roll off the table.

$1 can make a trumpeter screech.
