The Nominating Committee of the Central Property Owners’ Association ( CPOA ) of Garden City is seeking candidates for the position of Village Trustee. The term of office for Village Trustee will be for two years from April 2010 to April 2012.

Any resident from the Central Section of the Village who is interested in being considered for this position is requested to call the Chairperson of the CPOA Nominating Committee, Tom Simpson, at 747-2174 for an application form. The deadline for the return of a completed application form is Friday, November 13, 2009. All applicants will be interviewed by the Nominating Committee after the deadline and the Committee will recommend a candidate for Village Trustee at the January, 2010 general election meeting of the CPOA.

The next monthly meeting of the CPOA is Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 8:00 PM at the Village Senior Center. All CPOA meetings are open and Central residents are encouraged to attend.
