The weather forecast for the weekend of Oct 17/18 was miserable and there was even snow in NJ and upstate NY on Oct 16. The Garden City Bird Sanctuary’s Halloween Fest and Haunted Hike has been rescheduled to Saturday Oct 24th starting at 4PM. Tickets will also be available at the Homecoming on 7th street from 9-2. The bird sanctuary is sorry for the inconvenience, but wanted better weather so folks could have a good time! . People who have purchased tickets and will be unable to attend the Oct 24th rescheduled event can call Rob Alvey at 326-1720 for refunds. We are looking forward to a spooktacular time!
