Ski Club To Host Physical Therapy Event

A pre-season presentation highlighting physical therapy and its role in fitness for skiers will take place at 8 PM on Wednesday, October 21, at a meeting of the Garden City Ski Club. The event will take place a the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1000 Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park.

Dr. Vinod Somareddy (DPT), founder and president of Reddy-Care Physical Therapy in Great Neck, will be the featured speaker. Reddy -Care is a leading physical therapy practice specializing in treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Among his topics will be: preparing for ski season; common skiing/sports injuries; preventative measures; and appropriate rehabilitation.
