Some of the women enjoying the luncheon. The Garden City Community Church will host its kickoff Thursday Luncheon for community senior citizens on October 22. This outreach program is held the second and fourth Thursday of each month at noon in the church Parlor. Church members and community residents are invited to enjoy the fellowship and a program. Please bring a sandwich; dessert and coffee and tea are served by volunteer hostesses.

Virginia Fortney will make her 25th visit to the group on October 22. She will lead everyone in gentle exercise and attendees can help her celebrate her 90th birthday!

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ.
