Lita Reilly, Sr. Ginny MaGuire and Pat DiMattia Fall is here and Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away! The St. Joseph’s Sponsor A Family Committee is busy preparing to help over 200 families from two neighboring parishes - Queen of the Most Holy Rosary in Roosevelt and Our Lady of Loretto in Hempstead. This year the need for assistance is greater than ever and we are counting on the continuing support and generosity from the Garden City community. The goal is to provide a complete Thanksgiving dinner, including a frozen turkey with all of the trimmings to so many families in need. It is a unique opportunity to share your blessings with others. We encourage all residents and community organizations to participate in this wonderful charitable event.

The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, November 3 and the collection of the grocery dinners will take place on Saturday morning, November 21 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph’s School parking lot.
