A FREE performance of “Driving Miss Daisy” will be presented by the talented cast of Plaza Theatrical Productions on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00pm at the Garden City Public Library located at 60 Seventh St., Garden City, NY. This moving comedy tells the story of an elderly Jewish matron, Daisy Wethan, and her chauffeur, Hoke Coleburn. At first not happy about relying on a black man, Daisy is won over by Hoke and the two develop a friendship that spans 25 years.
