David W. Nugent graduated from the United States Air Force Academy on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden. At graduation he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force. While at the Academy, David was a four year member of the varsity lacrosse team. He was a Mountain West Conference Scholar Athlete, served as the Squadron Honor Representative, and was Deputy Group Commander. David graduated from Garden City High School in 2005.
