Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt will be sponsoring a car seat safety event on Friday, October 23rd, from 9:30am to 1:30pm at Village Parking Field 6E in Garden City. Certified instructors will be on hand to assist parents with all they need to know about their car seats, including proper installation and care.

Appointments are necessary, so area residents who are interested in this free service should call Assemblyman McKevitt’s office at 516-739-5119 to reserve a time slot. Parents must bring their car seat to the event.

Village Parking Field 6E is located off of 7^th Street, west of Franklin Avenue in Garden City. The event will be taking place in the rear of the lot, on the far side of the railroad tracks.
