Trojans JV Beats MacArthur 30-8

The Garden City Trojans JV football team traveled to Levittown to take on the MacArthur Generals on Monday afternoon September 21st. Garden City won the game 30-8. Trojans running backs Ryan Norton and Scott D’Antonio ran the ball well for GC helped by blocking from the offensive line including Scott Mongiardo and Mike Gilbert. Quarterback Mike Comiskey scored on a long touchdown run. Receivers Liam Kennedy and Devin Dwyer made some key blocks down field. The Trojans defense scored four points off of two safeties and helped set up other key plays during the game. MacArthur’s usually potent offense was shut down and totaled less than 200 yards.
The Trojans will play their first home game of the season tomorrow, Saturday September 26th at 9:15am.
