ON SEPTEMBER 21 , two shoplifters acting in concert, a 36-year-old Mastic woman and a 19-year-old Mastic woman, allegedly took $409 in items including 2 Guess sweaters, 2 Free People sweaters and 2 Pacific Heights sweaters at Lord and Taylor. The ladies were charged with the possession of burglar tools and larceny... ON SEPTEMBER 22 , Sgt. Jacobsen stopped a 23-year-old Port Washington man for alleged speeding at Rockaway Avenue/ Old Country Road. It turned out that the man was a fugitive from justice and he was arraigned before a County judge. The warrant stemmed from a fraud in NJ... ON SEPTEMBER 21 , between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., a $350 Fuji bicycle that had been chained at a pole was stolen from Field 6 W... ON SEPTEMBER 13, 7:30 a.m., someone took a $700 Apple cell phone from the Marines base at Stewart Avenue... On September 17, 12:30 p.m., a thief stole $90 razors from a pharmacy on Seventh Street and fled the store. After said thief realized he was being chased, he dropped the goods and ran. ON SEPTEMBER 15, 6 p.m., police arrested a 22-year-old Mastic woman and a 24-year-old Mastic man, after they allegedly stole a handbag from a Jeep at Adelphi University. They were charged with the criminal possession of stolen property and the man was additionally charged with the possession of heroin...
