Our fall session of Yoga with Connie McKnight will begin the week of September 14 according to the following schedule:

Mondays 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. 13 classes for $65

Wednesdays 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. 12 classes for $60

Thursdays 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. 13 classes for $65

This program is open to adults who are residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City. Each class will meet in Cluett Hall . To register for this program, please visit the Recreation Administrative Offices at 108 Rockaway Avenue. For further information, call the Recreation Office at 465-4075

MATINEE TRIP TO ADELPHI’S

OLMSTED THEATRE

The Recreation Department is sponsoring a trip to Adelphi’s Olmsted Theatre on Friday, October 9th to see Elmer Rice’s Pulitzer Prize wining play, “Street Scene”. This 1929 play follows an immigrant family living in a tenement in New York City as they struggle through their day to day activities.

The Recreation Bus will pick you up at St. Paul’s Senior Center at 10 a.m. to take you to the show which starts at 11 a.m. The cost of a ticket will be $9.00.

To reserve a seat for this trip, please visit the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue by Wednesday, October 7th. All tickets must be paid for with cash.

St. Paul’s Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Seniors aged 60 and up who are residents of the Village of Garden City are invited to come and enjoy our facility. We are offering the following programs this week:

11:30 a.m. Brown bag lunch time and at 12:30 p.m. be ready to drive over to the Garden City Bird Sanctuary with a very interesting walk, lovely sounds, and beautiful birds! The Recreation Bus will take us to the Sanctuary.
