Louis Cappelli The Kiwanis Club of Garden City, Inc. proudly announces Louis Cappelli has been elected President effective October 1st. Re-elected were Vice Presidents Anthony Bandelato and Michael Ventre, Secretary, Gloria Sena and Treasurer, John Collins. Treasurer

In addition, the following Directors will continue to serve on the Board of Directors: Jack Gearns, Robert Gerek, Valerie Giacinto, James Lynch, Thomas Rechner, Philip Sands and Peter Schlick.

A Kiwanis board member for the past several years, Mr. Cappelli succeeds H. Arthur Anderson, who has been President since 2007. Mr. Cappelli is Senior Vice President of Promolink.com, a full service promotional marketing distribution firm headquartered in Farmingdale. Mr. Cappelli resides in Garden City with his wife Pat. Arthur Anderson, Immediate Past President, who is Executive Vice President of SNS Resources in Garden City, will continue to serve on the Board.

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Chartered in 1951, The Kiwanis Club of Garden City has been actively involved in supporting the children and community of Garden City. Garden City Kiwanis sponsors the Builders Club in the Middle School, the Key Clubs in the High School and Sacred Heart Academy as well as the Circle K Club at Adelphi University. Service projects throughout the year are conducted in the community and surrounding areas to assist those in need.
