Miniature Golf Tournament

The Recreation Department is proud to announce its' participation in the National Harris Club Miniature Golf Tournament. Our qualifying tournament is being held on Saturday, September 12. from, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Community Park and is open to all residents who would like to play. The fee to participate is $10 per person and includes practice time, the tournament, a hole in one contest plus coffee and bagels and prizes.

The top two winners qualify to participate at the prestigious Harris Cup Finals. Players at the finals compete for thousands of dollars to cash and prizes as well as the distinction of being a National Champion.

"2009 marks our ninth year of sponsoring the Harris Cup Tournament website.

"2009 marks our ninth year of sponsoring the Harris Cup Tournament. $80,000 in prize money has already been awarded and, once again, we will provide $10,000 for disbursement to the winners. The 2009 National tournament will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at: Twin Brook Family Fun Center in Tinton Falls, New Jersey."

Winners of the Garden City Recreation Tournament are responsible for their own transportation to and from, and any fees associated with attending the National Tournament. For more information on the Harris Cup go to their website: harrisminigolf.com.
